Construction & workforce
Your least experienced worker can be your biggest asset.
3F Strategies trains new workers and the leaders who hire them in one shared system, so good people get hired, stay on the job and go home safe.
Getting hired isn't the hard part. Staying is.
America is short millions of skilled workers. Programs get people hired, but too many don't stay. New workers wash out in the first few months, and good ones leave because the job gives them no room to move, no say and no reason to stay.
Training isn't the bottleneck. Retention is. We work alongside technical training to fix that.
Who we serve
People coming home from incarceration and from low-income communities: the workers the traditional pipeline most often overlooks, and most often loses after hiring.
3F Strategies was founded in 2019, but the work isn't new. Kevin has spent 26 years training these communities, and since the late '80s he has given a chance to anyone willing to work hard, no matter where they came from.
No one is sorted or labeled by a diagnosis or by their past.
MATH CLASS
Mastering Accountability Through Humanity.
Communication, Leadership, Assessment, Safety Systems.
One system, taught to both sides. The worker learns to own his mistakes. The manager learns to give him a fair shot. Both get certified, so they speak the same language from day one.
What each side learns
Trainees
- Find the way you work best
- Own a mistake and take correction without shutting down
- Read a tape, a cut list and a blueprint
- Start every shift with a quick check-in
- Keep the whole crew on the same page
- Build toward running your own business someday
Managers
- Correct a worker without crushing him
- Pair people so their strengths cover each other
- Run a two-minute check-in every morning
- Keep field knowledge when people move on
- Keep the people you hire
The full curriculum, with every module and tool, is available to program partners.
How we plug in

During training

At placement
We train the employer's managers in the same system.
After hire
Check-ins through the first 90 days, when new workers are most likely to leave.
How we measure it
- Retention at 90 days and at one year
- Safety incidents and near-misses
- Feedback from trainees and managers after each group
